Chef Chez You can bring you and your family back to the table while helping you solve the "what’s for dinner?" problem.
Chef Tim will provide a customized menu designed especially for you in the comfort of your own home. The meals are prepared in your kitchen and the chef will clean up after all of the cooking and leave your house with wonderful aromas and a fridge full of food.

Food is a very personal choice and the Chef Tim takes this responsibility very seriously, from providing your family with everyday meals to helping you with baked goods and family recipes, it will be Chef Tim's pleasure to Make Your Kitchen a Bistro.

Whether you are eating out too often, starting a new diet, or you are just short on time, Chef Tim will work with you to customize a menu that caters to your lifestyle, dietary needs and sensitivities to put good meals on the table within 20-30 minutes of coming home from work.





What is included and how much does a personal chef cost?

Cook Day Package
I will meet you in your home for an in-home interview where we will talk about all your likes, dislikes and food allergies/sensitivities. This interview will help me create the menus I will prepare for you and your family. I will send you a menu via email for your approval and we will agree on your first Cook Day during the In-home Interview.

20 meals consisting of 5 main dish recipes
(4 portions + Side Dishes where required)
Your meals will typically be packed in portions of 2,
giving you 10 dinners to enjoy over the next few weeks!
Groceries and clean up will be done by the chef!
$300+hst & cost of food
$50/extra person

About the Chef
I’ve worked in the hospitality industry since 1989.
I started out as a waiter, then worked my way around a Golf and Country Club where I met my wife, before starting work at Walt Disney World in the Canadian Pavilion at Epcot Center.
I worked for a Private Yacht Club for about 1.5 years, then a few different places in the Niagara Region before moving to Ottawa where I worked at a Greek Restaurant as a waiter for 5 years. I’ve always loved to cook and a lot of times I would watch the chefs make food and then I’d try to replicate the recipes.
I always wanted to own a restaurant, but we all know the cost , the time involved and the commitment it takes. My wife came home from work one day in January 2000 and told me about a new concept called Personal Chef and that one of her colleagues sister had started a business out in Edmonton. So I gave her a call a few days later and the rest we can say is History. It took me 3 years to finally walk away from the restaurant with enough business under my feet.
I catered many parties, and helped hundreds of families with the everyday “What’s for dinner?” Problem. I finally got to have my “restaurant”, but now I got to bring it to people’s homes.
I had to shut down my business during the pandemic, but I’m happy to report that I have re-launched Chef Chez You in April of this year.
Serving others is what I was born to do and I look forward to doing it for years to come.
